Following on the critical success of AFTERLIFE WITH ARCHIE, Archie Comics Chief Creative Officer and writer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa teams up with superstar artist Robert Hack to bring a new level of terror and torment to Archie Comics with THE CHILLING ADVENTURES OF SABRINA.
Aguirre-Sacasa and Hack discuss their plans and hopes for the title in a series of interviews also featuring new artwork by Hack over at Comics Alliance, The Beat, and Newsarama.
“This is fully a horror story… and it’s really epic,” explained Aguirre-Sacasa.
“It starts when Sabrina’s a baby and just keeps going, so the canvas is bigger. Sabrina is the most powerful character in the Archie universe, so let’s really explore that power, and how difficult it would be for someone to control it while they’re coming-of-age…”
SABRINA #1 is rated TEEN+ and goes on sale October 8 at comic book stores and digitally.
