Archie Brings Riverdale to China!
Hit game for mobile devices lets Chinese players build their own perfect Riverdale.
MONCTON, NEW BRUNSWICK – Gogii Games, a leading independent game studio, has partnered with Vancouver-based Imagin8sian and Archie Comics, the acclaimed and bestselling comic book publisher that is home to some of the best-known pop culture creations, to adapt and release the mobile game Archie: Riverdale Rescue to Chinese players. Under the agreement, Imagin8sian will leverage their experience with game design and performance in the Chinese market to optimize the game for the market in Mainland China.
Archie: Riverdale Rescue lets players take control of classic and beloved Archie Comics characters to help rescue the titular town, Riverdale. Players can take the role of Archie, Betty, Veronica, Jughead, or Reggie as they rebuild their hometown by completing fun quests and interesting tasks.

Since launching the first version of Archie: Riverdale Rescue to English-speaking audiences in July 2013, more than one million players have helped the Archie Gang rebuild the titular town of Riverdale. A story-driven game with content provided by the studios artists, the game gives you control of Riverdale and all its characters, guiding them through the rebuilding of their town as they fall in and out of love. With seasonal updates, new features, and improvements arriving regularly since its worldwide launch, Riverdale Rescue has matured into the hit game now launching for the Chinese market.

The game is available now for download on iOS devices via Apple’s iTunes store, and will be available March 2015 for Android devices in Simplified Chinese (Mandarin) via “360 手机助手” and various other Chinese game platforms.
