If you've surfed the site, you may have already gotten an idea of how concerned we are about the wholesomeness of our content. We are guided by our "WFOP" principles. Those aren't just any four letters. They stand for something very important to us:

Everyone, both here at ArComEnt and at ACP, is committed to delivering entertainment that's fun for the whole family.

ACP actually has very strict guidelines that it insists everyone who is part of ARCHIE's world observe.

ACP Guidelines for Use of Characters

Any use must portray the characters in a manner which is substantially consistent with the wholesome manner in which they are portrayed in the comic books published by ACP. For example, they shall; (a) not be depicted in explicit activities inappropriate for a youthful audience; (b) always be shown wearing seat belts when driving; (c) never be shown taking drugs; (d) never be shown smoking; (e) never be shown drinking alcoholic beverages; (f) never be shown nude; (g) never be shown engaging in violent or abusive behavior; (h) never be shown in knowingly engaging in illegal activities; and (i) never be shown engaging in any activity which is contradictory to the commitment of ACP to the use of the characters to promote good dental and personal hygiene.

We at ArComEnt share ACP's commitment. We'll try our best to ensure that everything we put up on the site follows those guidelines. But we need your help too! Don't send us anything that doesn't follow those guidelines.

AND IF YOU DISCOVER THAT WE'VE PUT UP SOMETHING SENT TO US BY A WISEGUY ('CAUSE UNFORTUNATELY THEY'RE OUT THERE) THAT HAS SOMETHING IN IT THAT IS OFFENSIVE THAT WE FAILED TO DETECT -- PLEASE LET US KNOW AND WE'LL TAKE IMMEDIATE ACTION.

ArComEnt automatically collects non-identifying website activity data that is used by us for internal review in aggregate form.

E-mail addresses and other personally identifying data about visitors to this site are known to ArComEnt only when voluntarily submitted or posted to us.

We may ask visitors to our site for personal identifying information. For example, so we can better understand our visitors' use of the site, or so we can communicate responses or send contest prizes or products they've ordered. But we will never, ever share such personal identifying information with anyone else.

When we run contests, we may ask that participants send us personal identifying information. We need this information to contact the winner. For those who do not win, we will neither record in a database nor anywhere else any such personal identifying data. In fact, we will not even retain such information. Rather, we will discard it.

At most, we will share statistics that we compile that do not reveal personal identifying information (you know how advertisers are, for example, they want to know how many 14 year olds visit the site, without caring what their individual names are, etc.)

We at ArComEnt are mindful of the fact that four generations of parents have trusted ACP to deliver their children wholesome entertainment. ArComEnt promises to work with ACP and you to preserve and strengthen that trust.
